Admission Policies

Because Treehouse is for children and families, all children must be accompanied by an adult. All adults must be accompanied by a child and remain with their child during their entire visit. This policy applies even to our members. Caregivers are responsible for supervising their children at all times during their visit and ensuring that children walk, use inside voices, and help tidy exhibits before moving on.

Complete details on our reopening admission policies are found on the Timed Admission Page under Shop and in detail on the Frequently Asked Question Page of this website.

Families with older youth and adults with special needs are most welcome, but should be aware that exhibits are designed for children ages 2 to 10, and may not be safe for adult-sized visitors. Currently Treehouse is not offering group discounted reservations.

Strollers can block walkways, limiting wheelchair access, and stroller wheels can even damage exhibits. Because of this, we ask that all strollers be parked in the locker lobby area. Exceptions are made for grown-ups with physical issues, twins and triplets, and sleeping babies. Treehouse has wheelchairs for loan upon request.
