What's the difference between an agent and manager? What is the role of a casting director? In this workshop, Emily Grill will help to demystify the film and television industry. Learn what agents, managers, and casting directors do, how best to prepare for entering the world of tv and film, and what to expect when starting your audition journey. Ask questions from someone who works in the field and will give you direct insight into everything you ever wanted to know about "show business".
Emily Grill has worked in film and television entertainment in LA and New York for 6 years. Previously she worked at Paradigm talent agency and in reality and TV / film casting in Los Angeles. Currently she works in casting for TV/Film in New York City. Emily has also worked as the assistant to the Artistic Director at the Eugene O’Neill theater center for the last 2 summers, as well as produced off-off broadway shows in New York.
Registration is required. A Zoom link will be sent out 2 hours prior to the start of the webinar to your email address. Although the webinar is free, we encourage participants to help support the Hopkinton Center for the Arts with a donation. Any amount you can give is deeply appreciated.
