Birthday Parties

Looking for a unique birthday party idea? The Hopkinton Center for the Arts offers a variety of small party packages for children, teens, and adults. For large event rentals and corporate rentals, please visit our Special Event page.

 

Choose from these fun party options:
• Paint Parties (all ages)
• Ceramics Parties
• Art Parties for Kids (ages 4–10)
• Princess Parties (ages 3–6)
• Junior Actors (ages 5–10)

Party rentals are based on availability.

 

Ceramics Parties 

Include:

  • Set-up in the HCA’s new ceramics studio.
  • Two and one-half hour instructor led ceramics project followed by half-hour party time in the barn.
  • Child’s choice of ceramics hand building project.
  • Birthday child learns how to throw after hand building project is complete.
  • Can be set up for a morning or afternoon session.


Minimum: 4 participants / Maximum: 10 participants.
Cost: $450 (with party set-up in barn), if barn room is not needed cost is discounted to $375.

Projects will be available for pick up 2–3 weeks after the party and will be food and dishwasher safe.

 


Art Parties for Kids

Include:

  • Use of the HCA’s second floor event space in the newly renovated barn or the use of the art studio and another room.
  • Two-hour party rental.
  • One hour art lead activity (tailored to specific ages and your child’s favorite book, sport or hobby).
  • All art materials (*additional cost may be added for complicated or expensive materials).


Cost: $425 for up to 12 participants ($10 per additional child).


 

Princess Parties

Include:

  • Two Princesses (choose from: Moana, Frozen's Anna & Elsa, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Belle or Rapunzel).
  • Ninety-minute program includes one-hour of two song sing-a-longs, craft, autographs and 30-minutes of cake and presents.
  • All craft materials are included.
  • Use of the HCA’s second floor event space in the newly renovated barn for two-hours.


Cost: $425 for up to 12 participants ($10 per additional child).

Mini Princess Parties

Include:

  • One Princess (choose from: Anna, Elsa, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Belle or Rapunzel).
  • Fortyfive-minute program includes sing-a-long, craft, autographs, and 30 minutes of cake and presents.
  • All craft materials are included.
  • Use of the HCA’s second floor event space in the newly renovated barn for two-hours.


Cost: $325 for up to 12 participants ($10 per additional child)

 

Junior Actors

  • One hour of fun-filled activities, including acting games and the opportunity to create their own scenes.
  • Large assortment of costumes and props.
  • Use of the HCA’s second floor event space in the newly renovated barn for two-hours (includes set-up and break-down).


Cost: $425 for up to 12 participants.
*Additional $25 for parties larger than 12 participants for second party helper.

 

Art, Theater,  Dance and Princesses parties do travel! Please contact us to inquire about hosting an event at your home.

For kid’s parties, parents are responsible for set-up, decorations, refreshments, and cleanup. At least two parents must be present to supervise children at all times. Parents may arrive 15 minutes early for your party. To be able to fit in all of the fun activities, please be on time! Guest will be directed to your party room when they arrive. The room must be vacated after the two hours and left in the state in which it was found. Prices reflect daytime events.

You may bring a store-bought cake, ice cream and refreshments to the party. You may have pizza delivered from one of the local pizzerias or ask us about our list of preferred caterers. No home-made goods allowed. Please no piñatas or confetti.

Paint Night Party (For All Ages)

Include:

  • Set-up in the HCA’s Art Studio.
  • Two and one-half hour instructor led paint project.
  • Large canvas and all materials.
  • Can be set up for a morning, afternoon, or evening event.


Minimum: 8 participants / Maximum: 12 participants.
Cost: $40 per person.

A non-refundable 25 percent deposit is required to hold the space with the balance due on the day of the party. Please book parties at least two-weeks in advance. Party rentals are based on availability. All party payments are nonrefundable.
