In this fun 1.5 hour class kids will use brightly colored home-baked clay to create one-of-a-kind miniature pieces of art that can be both functional and beautiful! We will work with students to build techniques to create things from life and imagination in 3-D. For grades 1 - 3.
Workshop cost: $20.00. Supplies not included.
For this online class you will need: - A phone, computer, or iPad with a camera, plus a small space to work from home. - Aluminum Foil - An inexpensive plastic light switch plate (new or taken off your wall) - Sculpey clay (multi-color packs, or individual colors). Sculpey clay is available to purchase at a number of craft locations, including Amazon, Joann Fabrics, Blick Art Store, and Michaels. Check your area for local shipping times or curbside pick-up availability.
In a pinch, if you can not find the shaping tools, or similar tools, you can use a rounded pencil or Play-doh tools.

Pre-Ballet expands on the dance elements and practices of Creative Dance. Through story telling, props, music, and play, young dancers are encouraged to explore the joy of dance and movement in this online, interactive class. A list of common household items to collect for use as props will be sent to registered students.
Please Note: A laptop, tablet or video-conferencing device and a reliable internet connection are required for this class. Six feet of clear dancing space also required. We also suggest an adult stay nearby to provide technology support. Ages 5-6 years old. Instructor: Jessica Wilson

Directed by Alyssa Rae Surrette & Eric Balboni, this Willy Wonka Jr will be the summer musical production at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Please review the schedule below carefuly. It is permissable for a student to miss one week of rehearsals due to a family vacation and still be part of the production, but it may not be the week of July 20–July 25.
Rehearsal Schedule:
June 7, 14 & 21 - late Sunday afternoon rehearsal
June 23–July 23, rehearsals will be Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays from 3:15 to 6:00 pm
There will be a performance on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25
