The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is looking for volunteers (individuals or groups) to support our operational needs in different areas and positions. This is a great opportunity for adults or students looking to fulfill community service hours.

Gallery Docent

We would like to keep the gallery open as much as possible on the weekends. If you are interested in welcoming guests who come to view the show, we’d love to hear from you! No prior experience necessary!

Classroom Assistants (During the school year)

We have a wonderful and extensive class catalogue. We are looking for classroom assistants for certain classes to help out the teachers. If you are interested, please contact me to set up an interview: Martha@hopartscenter.org

Year-round Volunteer Opportunities 

Flyer Distribution
We need volunteers to come in at their convenience on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to distribute flyers. A familiarity with the area is preferable!

 

Organization/Maintenance 
We are always looking for help with help with landscaping and organization.

 

Theater crew: If you have an interest in set construction, crew member for load-in/out, costume sourcing and creation, usher, lobby reception please contact us.

 

Our volunteers will train with staff members and work with staff and community members on special projects and general ongoing endeavors. If you’re interested in volunteering at the HCA, please call 508-435-9222 or email us at Martha@hopartscenter.org to introduce yourself and let us know in which area(s) you’d like to volunteer!
