Did you know that every time you purchase admission or a family membership, enroll your child in a program, or shop in our store you are helping to ensure that Impression 5 Science Center continues to be a space for children and families to engage and connect with science now and for years to come?
In fact, your generosity is evident whether we're turning on the exhibit floor lights for the day, working on facility renovations, or prototyping new exhibit components for our upcoming two-story Water Room.
In 1972 when Impression 5 opened, it was one of the first hands-on science centers in the country. Your family has made memories here and, with your help, we hope to continue to bring families together to play with science, create with science, and challenge their understanding of science together.
Every $8 donated sponsors a student to visit the Science Center with his or her class and participate in a workshop when they otherwise wouldn't have the funds to do so. A gift of $30 supplies Throwing Things with a month's supply of ping pong balls. With an average of nearly 3,000 guests per week, we go through a lot of bubble solution in Pop! A Bubble Experience. A donation of $75 ensures each of those guests have the opportunity to stand in awe inside a giant bubble, as they explore the chemistry of soap film.
